These terms govern use of AnyBike accounts and services and form part of the basis on which AnyBike communicates, offers, buys and sells motorcycles. AnyBike is a trading style of Giffords Empire Ltd. Transaction-specific terms in a Formal Offer, invoice or written agreement also apply.
AnyBike is a trading style of Giffords Empire Ltd. Where Move Motorcycles carries out UK motorcycle collection or delivery for an AnyBike transaction, Move Motorcycles is also a trading style of Giffords Empire Ltd and is not a separate seller contracting with AnyBike for that movement.
Account holders must provide accurate information, keep login details secure and promptly update material account details. An account may support buying, selling, dealer or supplier activities depending on the user's relationship with AnyBike.
Motorcycles sold by AnyBike under this trade/export route are offered only to genuine trade or business buyers. Before accepting a Formal Offer, the buyer must confirm that the purchase is being made wholly or mainly for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession and must provide accurate business details when requested.
A motorcycle is not reserved or secured merely because it has been discussed, sourced or shown to a buyer. A Formal Offer must be accepted within its validity period. Acceptance does not by itself prove payment has been received or that the motorcycle has been secured from the supplier.
The customer-facing AnyBike offer price is the total amount offered for the transaction. Unless the Formal Offer expressly states otherwise, the AnyBike offer price includes AnyBike sourcing fees, collection from the seller and delivery to the agreed UK port or handover point. The Formal Offer states the minimum deposit due on acceptance and the remaining balance. Payment is treated as received only when verified by AnyBike. Customer payments and supplier payments are separate records.
Motorcycles supplied by AnyBike are used vehicles unless expressly stated otherwise. Age, mileage, previous use, visible condition, available history and disclosed defects are relevant to the sale. A used motorcycle is not represented as new, defect-free or guaranteed to remain mechanically reliable after handover.
AnyBike collection and standard condition checks are visual/handover checks only. They are not mechanical or engineering inspections and do not verify hidden defects, internal mechanical condition, complete service history or future reliability.
A buyer requiring mechanical assurance must request an independent third-party inspection before purchase or before the transaction reaches the agreed commitment point, or arrange its own inspection. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the buyer pays the inspection cost. If the buyer proceeds without an independent inspection, that decision forms part of the agreed inspection basis for the sale.
No separate voluntary AnyBike mechanical warranty, guarantee, after-sales repair promise or promise of future reliability is included with a used motorcycle unless expressly stated in the Formal Offer or other written agreement. The buyer is responsible for maintenance, repairs and mechanical failures arising after handover, subject to liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
AnyBike may provide information from sellers, databases, MOT records, vehicle-history providers, photographs, documents and other sources. Information that has not been independently verified should not be treated as independently verified.
The buyer is responsible for destination-country import eligibility, duties, taxes, registration, compliance and local-use requirements unless AnyBike expressly agrees to provide a specific service covering one of those matters.
The buyer must confirm its nominated freight forwarder or shipper and the agreed UK handover point for the Deal. Unless the Formal Offer expressly states otherwise, AnyBike's delivery obligation ends when the motorcycle is handed over at that confirmed UK port or handover point to the buyer, the buyer's nominated freight forwarder or another person authorised by the buyer. Risk transfers at that handover. From that point the buyer is responsible for onward freight, insurance, storage, export, import, registration and destination-country use.
UK motorcycle collection or delivery may be carried out under the Move Motorcycles trading style of Giffords Empire Ltd. Freight forwarding, crating, specialist mechanical inspection and other onward or specialist services may be supplied by independent providers. Where an independent provider is used, that provider remains responsible for the specialist service it supplies under its own terms unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
VAT treatment depends on the motorcycle and the transaction. A motorcycle may be VAT Qualifying, sold under the Margin Scheme, or subject to another applicable VAT treatment. Export does not automatically make a motorcycle purchase VAT-free. Any VAT treatment applied by AnyBike will be shown in the relevant transaction or invoice documents where applicable. Destination-country import duties, taxes and charges remain the buyer's responsibility unless expressly agreed otherwise.
AnyBike does not permit known material defects or discrepancies to be deliberately concealed. Buyers must also provide accurate information about destination, buyer status, shipping requirements and any other material transaction facts.
Motorcycle availability can change until the motorcycle is genuinely secured. Offers can expire and sourced motorcycles can be sold or withdrawn by suppliers before security. AnyBike will record material status changes in the relevant transaction workflow.
These Terms & Conditions must be read together with the Trade & Export Sale Policy, the buyer's accepted Formal Offer, the recorded inspection basis and transaction-specific written terms. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnyBike excludes liability for ordinary wear and tear, future mechanical failure, deterioration after handover, loss of use, lost profit, lost resale margin, business interruption and indirect or consequential business loss. Nothing excludes or restricts liability for title, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
