Motorcycle Inspection Support

Motorcycle Inspection

AnyBike collection and standard inspection support records visible condition and handover information. It is not a mechanical or engineering inspection. Buyers who require a mechanical assessment can request an independent third-party inspection at their cost.

How the service works

Better information before a motorcycle moves.

Inspection scope depends on the motorcycle, seller, location and access available. AnyBike confirms what can realistically be checked before work begins.

Visible condition

Bodywork, wheels, tyres, controls, obvious damage and general presentation can be reviewed where access allows.

Identity and details

Registration, VIN or identification details, mileage and available documents can be checked against the information supplied.

Photo and video evidence

Additional photos or video can be requested where practical to help a buyer assess the motorcycle remotely.

Important: AnyBike staff, drivers and collection partners are not acting as motorcycle mechanics or engineers when carrying out a collection condition check. The check records what is reasonably visible at handover. It does not verify the internal condition of the engine, gearbox, clutch, electrical systems or other hidden components, does not authenticate a complete service history and does not predict future reliability.

Collection Condition Check

Physical appearance, visible damage, mileage, keys, available documents and identity details can be recorded at collection. This is the standard handover record.

Independent Mechanical Inspection

If you need a mechanical assessment, tell AnyBike before purchase. We can help coordinate an appropriately qualified independent motorcycle engineer, dealer or inspection provider. The buyer pays the third-party inspection cost unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Your inspection choice is recorded

Where applicable, Deal 360 will record whether you requested an independent inspection, arranged your own inspection, or chose to proceed without an additional mechanical inspection.

MOT is not a mechanical warranty. A valid MOT concerns testable items at the time of the test; it is not evidence of the motorcycle's general mechanical condition. Read the Trade & Export Sale Policy →

Tell us the bike

Send the motorcycle details, seller location and the checks you want completed.

3

Complete the agreed check

AnyBike records the agreed visual/handover checks. If a mechanical inspection has been requested, that separate assessment is completed by the independent third-party provider.
