AnyBike supplies used motorcycles on a trade/export basis. This page explains the standard commercial basis we intend to apply to purchases from AnyBike. A specific Formal Offer, invoice or written agreement may contain additional transaction-specific terms.
Motorcycles purchased from AnyBike are intended for buyers acting wholly or mainly for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession. Before a purchase is completed, AnyBike may require confirmation of the buyer's trade/business status and intended use.
Motorcycles are used vehicles. Age, mileage, prior use and disclosed condition are relevant to the transaction. AnyBike records the description and known information available to it and does not represent a used motorcycle as new or mechanically fault-free.
Unless a Formal Offer expressly states otherwise, AnyBike does not include a separate voluntary mechanical warranty or guarantee with a trade/export motorcycle sale. This does not exclude any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
AnyBike or its collection partner may record the motorcycle's physical appearance and handover condition, including photographs, visible damage, mileage, keys, documents and identity details where accessible.
A buyer who requires a mechanical assessment must request an independent third-party inspection before purchase or before the transaction reaches the agreed commitment point. The inspection is carried out by an appropriately qualified external provider and the cost is payable by the buyer unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
AnyBike may obtain or display vehicle-history information, MOT data, service information, seller statements and available documents. These are recorded as information sources, not as a mechanical guarantee. Where information is not verified, it should be treated as unverified.
The transaction may record one of the following inspection bases:
Destination-country import eligibility, duties, taxes, registration, compliance and local use requirements vary. The buyer is responsible for ensuring the motorcycle can be lawfully imported, registered and used in the destination country unless AnyBike expressly agrees to provide a specific service.
The Formal Offer should identify the agreed UK handover point, delivery arrangement or freight provider. Risk, responsibility and shipping obligations are governed by the terms agreed for that transaction and should not be assumed merely from the fact that the motorcycle is being exported.
AnyBike's trade/export model does not permit known material problems to be concealed. Known defects, discrepancies or relevant limitations identified before sale should be disclosed through the motorcycle information, inspection record, Formal Offer or other transaction documents as appropriate.
