Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide Revival
A numbered, retro-styled Softail inspired by a custom 1956 FLH, honouring 75 years since Harley-Davidson's original Hydra-Glide telescopic front suspension arrived in 1949.
Worldwide production was limited to no more than 1,750 motorcycles. This is a historic model guide, not a live stock listing.

1949 Hydra-Glide origins
Hydra-Glide originally described the telescopic hydraulic front fork fitted to Harley-Davidson's E and F motorcycles from 1949. The era's FL touring motorcycles shaped the visual character celebrated by the 2024 Revival.
The historic Hydra-Glide and modern Revival are not mechanically equivalent motorcycles.
2024 Icons Collection Revival
The 2024 limited edition recreated the appearance of a customised 1956 FLH with Redline Red and Birch White paint, vintage-style tank badges, a tall detachable windshield, chrome details and fringed leather-look touring equipment.
Each example was individually numbered. Confirm its serialised identification and original equipment before purchase.

Compare key generations and buying considerations
Check factory documents, market specification and exact production year before relying on any advertised description.
| Generation or variant | Important distinction | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| 1949 Hydra-Glide introduction | Historical telescopic-fork FL lineage | Not the same motorcycle as the 2024 tribute |
| 1956 FLH inspiration | Styling reference for the modern Icons model | Verify historical claims against archive records |
| 2024 Revival | Limited-edition Milwaukee-Eight Softail tribute | Confirm original paint, numbered emblem and accessories |
